Getting to and from the Airport

Ann Arbor is served by the Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW).
2800 Midfield Dr., Detroit | 734-AIRPORT

Most domestic and international flights run through “Metro,” which serves as a major Delta Airlines hub. Located in nearby Romulus off I-94, Metro Airport is about 25 miles east of Ann Arbor. Limo and car service is available from the airport. U-M recommended taxis services include Golden Limousine, Crown Ride, Metro Cars and Metro 4 Stars.

If you’re looking for inexpensive transportation to and from the airport, check out the Michigan Flyer-Airride, which is around $25 roundtrip (see website for advanced purchasing details and discounts). If staying in one of our three downtown Ann Arbor housing locations, choose Ann Arbor- Blake Transit Ctr, MI as your destination. Blake Transit Center is a few blocks walk to our on-campus housing locations (see Google Map below). If you are staying at the Ann Arbor Regent, additional transportation will need to be arranged to get from the Blake Transit Center in downtown Ann Arbor to the Ann Arbor Regent.

While in Ann Arbor

Most places in downtown Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan are easily walkable. You can also rent an Arbor Bike if you’re looking for a fun way to explore campus or downtown.
