Registration Opens Sunday for the 2022 WAC Summer Institute

Association for Writing Across the Curriculum logoRegistration for the 2022 WAC Summer Institute will open this Sunday (2/13) at 1:00 PM EST on the AWAC website.

The event takes place this summer, in-person:

  • When: June 12 - 15, 2022
  • Where: University of Georgia (Athens, GA)
  • Purpose: The Institute’s primary goal will be to assist new and prospective leaders of WAC/WID or similar initiatives in the US and internationally in planning and developing sustainable programs. The Institute will also support experienced directors who face new challenges or wish to expand, update, or revitalize their programs. Participants will work in small groups, as a whole group, individually, and with facilitators to tailor this approach to their own institutional contexts and goals.
  • Facilitators: Cristyn Elder (University of New Mexico), Chris Anson (North Carolina State University), Genevieve García de Müeller (Syracuse University), Jeffrey Galin (Florida Atlantic University), and Alisa Russell (Wake Forest University). Local Hosts: Lindsey Harding and Rebecca Hallman Martini (University of Georgia)
  • Registration: $700. Capped at 35 participants.

Payment is NOT due at the time of registration. This registration form allows everyone who wants a place can sign up quickly. Those who register will receive details on how to complete payment on March 1. The deadline for payment is March 15.

Additionally note that this event is all in-person, and we will be requiring up-to-date vaccination cards at the door.
