Nominations Sought for WAC Awards

The Association for Writing Across the Curriculum and the WAC Clearinghouse are seeking nominations for awards that recognize contributions to the WAC community through scholarship and achievement (please note that the deadline for publication awards has passed). We seek nominations for:

• Contributions to the field through distinguished service and innovation, including contributions to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the field; early career contributions to the field; and distinguished fellow of the Association for Writing Across the Curriculum
• Exemplary WAC Programs that are emerging, enduring, or established

Awardees will be recognized at the upcoming International Writing Across the Curriculum Conference (IWAC) in June 2023. Winners will receive an engraved plaque; winners will also be listed on the AWAC and WAC Clearinghouse websites and will receive a letter for their annual evaluation, promotion, and/or tenure files.

You can view past award winners on the WAC Clearinghouse and on the AWAC website. To be considered, nominations must be received on the following dates:

• Service awards: March 1, 2023
• Exemplary program awards: March 1, 2023 (nominations) and April 1, 2023 (materials)
