CSURF Celebrates Undergraduate Research From Across the Curriculum: The link leads to a PDF for the conference program for The Colorado Springs Undergraduate Research Forum (CSURF). CSURF highlights the accomplishments of undergraduates from Colorado College, the United States Air Force Academy, University of Colorado Colorado Springs, and Pikes Peak Community College. Over 400 students showcased research from in the Arts, Humanities, Engineering, and Natural and Social Sciences.

Resistance to Teaching Writing Across the Curriculum: Kathleen Daly, Assistant Director of the Writing Across the Curriculum at UW-Madison describes how she addresses a key point of faculty resistance to assigning and teaching more writing in their courses: “How do I teach writing without having to cut out course content?” Daly describes a faculty development course she designed -- "Expeditions in Learning: Exploring How Students Learn with Writing Across the Curriculum" -- that helps address that understandable concern.
