WAC Awards Announced

The Association for Writing Across the Curriculum and the WAC Clearinghouse are seeking nominations for awards that recognize contributions to the WAC community through scholarship and achievements. Awardees will be recognized at the upcoming International Writing Across the Curriculum Conference (IWAC) in August 2021.

Call for Proposals: 3rd EAC Conference

Proposals are now being accepted for the 3rd International Conference on English Across the Curriculum (EAC), which is co-organized by a cross-institutional team drawn from leading universities in Hong Kong. The EAC 2021 Conference will be held online from 20-21 May 2021.

Double Helix has released the call for submissions on the topic, Critical Thinking and Writing in the Age of Pandemics. The journal editors invite Reports from the Field and scholarly Notes related to the effects of coronavirus—campus closures, social distancing, courses moved online, etc.—on pedagogy related to critical thinking and writing.

IWAC 2020 is Postponed

The Association for Writing Across the Curriculum and the organizing group for the 2020 International Writing Across the Curriculum Conference have postponed the conference and the WAC Summer Institute, which was scheduled to precede the conference. The conference will not be held on August 4-7, 2021.
