The WAC Clearinghouse supports the teaching of writing and speaking across the disciplines. We carry out our mission with support from a large community of scholars as well as a number of institutional and commercial partners.
Funding for the project is provided from donations to the Colorado State University Foundation's fund supporting the WAC Clearinghouse as well as from sales of print editions of our open-access scholarly books. You can view our list of supporters on our support page. You can learn about where to purchase print editions of our books on our books pages.
In-kind and other forms of support are provided by the Department of English and the Division of Information Technology at Colorado State University, the National Council of Teachers of English, University Press of Colorado, Utah State University Press, CompPile, and the faculty and staff at Colorado State University's Morgan Library, who provide assistance digitizing republished books and cataloging our new publications.
Mike Palmquist, a member of the faculty at Colorado State University, has directed development of the this site since 1997. He can be reached at Mike.Palmquist@ColoState.edu.
The overall WAC Clearinghouse site is designed, coded, and maintained by Mike Palmquist and Karen Peirce. Many members of our editorial staff and editorial board have the ability to edit the site. Coding for Across the Disciplines is carried out by Michael Cripps and Julia Voss.
