Registration is open for the 3rd International Conference on English Across the Curriculum online from 20-22 May. Registration is completely free of charge. The organizers write that they have an exciting schedule of presentations and discussions on May 20th and 21st and workshops on May 22nd.
Plenary speakers include Michelle Cox speaking on Sustaining writing: English across the curriculum, Professor Do Coyle, who will talk about Curriculum-making through a pluriliteracies approach: Learners and teachers as desginers of bilingual learning, and Oliver Meyer who will discuss Researching pluriliteracies: Towards an evidence-based understanding of deeper learning.
There will also be 139 papers presented by speakers from across Asia, Europe, Australia and North America in these streams:
a) Roles of EAC/WAC/CLIL in learning and teaching of language in various disciplines
b) EAC/WAC/CLIL pedagogy and practices
c) EAC/WAC/CLIL programme design, collaboration, and assessment
d) Technology-enhanced discipline-related language learning
e) Impact and sustainability of EAC/WAC/CLIL

The Conference is co-organised by a cross-institutional team from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, City University of Hong Kong, and Hong Kong Baptist University. It will be held online on 20-21 May 2021 and will bring together experts and colleagues to share research and insights on English Across the Curriculum (EAC), Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) and Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL).
