Given the current state of education it is wonderful to hear that someone out
there
besides me feels that a student should be allowed to express their own values.
It is
unfortunate, however, that many instructors do not understand that just choosing
the
material to present is a ploitical, value laden act. Part of the teaching act
is then
to make sure that our students understand this fact; not only as regards us, but
as
regards their other instructors.
