I agree about Jeffrey Galin's "liking," but I can't quite tell if
that's more or less begging the question--kind of like, "boy, when
he's on a streak, he can really shoot the ball." I mean, we can say
that in "good" classes students like what's going on, but we can say
just as well that students like what's going on if the class is
"good" in some way. Of course we want students and teachers to
like what they're doing, but how does that happen? So many questions
still unanswered. . .
