I happen to think, Eric, that you are as usual not spouting gibberish. Both your call for papers draft and this recent posting re co-writing/co-editing seem feasible and appropriate, to me at least. One of the "dangers" Rhetnet participants will have to guard against, though, is our editing paradigm appearing to be without reason or purpose, which could cause some potential contributors (presumably, those with differing views of texts, publishing, etc.) to be wary. Perhaps those to whom Eric's proposals appear relatively more preposterous could favor those of us who think he makes perfect sense with a differing perspective.
