And for the more desperate view, let's just read that hopeful verse
differently. With apologies to Sony and to Eric, this is what is
happening in the world where there never has been tenure. Only
change all the future tenses to preterits.
the future will become
vivid spreadsheets,
will crumble;
before creativity, information
will marry entertainment;
they will have many children
