Let's just say that just as there are writing teachers who can't write,
there are writing teachers who can't teach. And there are even writing
teachers who can't do either. Now, when we've defined what "writing" and
"teaching" are to everyone's satisfaction, then we can get to the business of
figuring out how to train the can't-dos into can-dos (assuming the
institutions allow us to do so).

And now I see that everything else I wanted to write--and some I wouldn't
have written-- has already been written. I gotta get back in practice.
