Writing Process Stew

Situation:

various (i.e. multitasking)

Process:

I usually keep several windows open in several programs at once on my computer. So, I might have Word open along with PageMaker and WebWeaver. But here's where it gets "various" -- I also have a desk by my computer desk upon which are many colors of pens and scads of papers in a range of textures and sizes (oh, yes, and lots of file cards!) -- these are for notes, shopping lists, letters to my kids, to do lists and the like. Then there's my journal which is bound in a deep brown leader with a refill that's got creamy off-white paper that takes ink beautifully. I switch back and forth from the computer desk and programs to the other desk papers and pens. This is how I multi-task. The danger is getting stuck in one task and actually finishing it, but as a rule, I try not to do that! ;-)
