For those of you interested in jazz and composition, there is a great book
I saw once called _Thinking in Jazz: The Infinite Art of Improvisation_ which
takes
a close look at how improvisation works in jazz but draws a number of
conclusions that
can be applied to all types of improvisation. I can't remember the author.
