I agree with your entire post, but especially the few lines
quoted above. It is difficult NOT to be enthusiastic about
the advantages of using computer technology in the classroom...
but I do think that many people have developed a resistence
to it because we extol it as the wave of the future...so those
who are intimidated by the computer to begin with may take a
negative attitude in self-defense...
