Based on the premise that meaning is dialogic we want to develop a way to demonstrate how collaborative hypertext writing can provide us a broader and deeper representation of meaning than traditional texts and hopefully at the same time propose a theory about how writing aught to be done and taught. More simlply, we want to walk the walk while we talk the talk. We actually have a very detailed plan of how we are going to do this while we utilize some independent study hours next quarter. Perhaps this is not the appropriate place for that discussion, however we hope that we will be able to keep our dialogue alive as we beleive we will generate some very valuable pedagogical tools for the online classroom and the traditional classroom as well. Thanks again. We look forward to hearing more from you in the future. Jake and Patrick
