Of course you can be credible without credit. I just want us to be clear
about where we're going and what we're doing. We can, for example:

1. form a cyber-rhet consulting firm and farm out our talent to interested
institutions who would "buy" our courses and provide credit

2. form a cyber-rhet consulting firm and "certify" our own course
graduates upon completion of various programs that we offer

3. offer our services to businesses and corporations for cash, but
offer no certification/credit.

Etc.

I don't think we should foreclose any possibility.

Personally, I see my students as any learner from youth to old age. This
means that I'm as concerned about non-traditional populations as I am
about traditional populations. I think that any venture we undertake
should likewise concern itself. That's my hope anyway. I would not want
to intentionally alienate traditional institutions.

I suggest that we continue this discussion and if it does wither away, we
should appoint a committee/team who will work together to come up with
some concrete proposals.

Beth
