Right. And what about the union, where's the union? or a strike. With
all due respect to Crumpean Romantics (we shoulda had him back in the
60s), I've been a nomad musician for 23 years and a freeway flyer adjunct
for 3, I was kinda looking forward to *leaving* the circus. Not that I'd
ever be one of those tenured lumps that we all know. I never want to be
that comfortable. I'd just like to buy a house somewhere, teach a few classes
and do some thinking/writing without worrying about health care.
Freelance and Corporate ain't the answer. Reform is.
