Using Problem-Solving To Teach Critical Thinking

Abstract: Problem-solving is a teaching technique that can be used to teach content while teaching students to think critically, reason, and make informed decisions. The goal of this session was to teach participants five problem-solving methods and help them develop the ability to identify situations in their content area where problem-solving techniques can be used appropriately.
