Accessibility Information

The University of Minnesota is committed to “advancing access for everyone.”

IWAC 2014 conference organizers value the principles of inclusivity and accessibility. We invite conference attendees to advance access for everyone by perusing the resources we have included on this site.

Persons with disabilities should contact Jules Thompson, jthompso@umn.edu, 612-625-0849, concerning arrangements that may facilitate conference attendance. If possible, requests for captioning and ASL interpreting services should be made no later than May 29, 2014; accommodations staff needs two weeks or more to prepare accommodations. Include the full name of the person who will need a captioning or interpreting service provider.

Accessible Presentations: Guidelines

We invite all participants to facilitate physical and sensory access at the conference. Create and deliver accessible documents, presentations, and multimedia resources.

The Committee on Disability Issues in College Composition (CDICC) and the Computers & Composition Digital Press (CCDP) also offer helpful guidelines.
