Edward Waters College’s Undergraduate Journal on Research Across The Disciplines would like to invite submissions for publication on research across the disciplines from undergraduate students. This journal, housed at Edward Waters College of Jacksonville, FL, was created to advance and support undergraduate research and scholarship at HBCUs.

Submission Guidelines

Edward Waters College’s Undergraduate Journal on Research Across The Disciplines is an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed refereed journal with an emphasis on research, writing across the curriculum, and writing in the discipline.

Select writings are reviewed by the editorial board, which selects the best critical articles among the genres, written by currently enrolled undergraduate students at Edward Waters College and other undergraduate college students from both local, national, and international colleges and universities.

Manuscripts can be in the Modern Language Association standard document style and should not exceed 25 pages in length—not including tables, graphs, figures, and references—and typed double spaced in 12-point font Times New Roman.

Submissions should be sent to Megan Crowley-Watson at m.crowleywatson@ewc.edu as an attachment or. Manuscripts should be original and not submitted to other journals. Manuscripts should include a short bio, cover letter, and contact information.

Review Process

All abstracts will be reviewed by the editorial board after November 15th, 2019. Applicants will be notified by December 1st.
