I like the term 'postmodern' if for no other reason than it gets us all
excited. Nobody knows exactly what it means, so it creates a kind of
rhetorical vacuum (which, being creatures of nature, we abhor :) and we
must rush into that space and fill it with something, if only
with contention.
On the other hand, I reckon Bob's right that 'contructivism' is a more
descriptive term.
