Okay, so if I synthesize what I've been hearing lately, I think we're
working toward some enterprise (thank you, Frank Smith) that's
locally-based and rooted in local concerns; but it's also global, in that
it takes place at least partly in net-land (so we can all do it where we
are, because nobody wants to go anywhere); and it will involve people
from preschool on up to wherever.

Sounds good to me. Now all we need to do is think of the enterprise.
Probably a half dozen suggest themselves.

Why don't we write a grant?
