Abstract/Summary: A survey sent to 17,000 Liberal Arts alumni who graduated over the last 20 years
and were subject to the current WAC reuqriement

Time Frame: 1.5 years

Research Question or Hypothesis: Which, if any, writing experiences at UT positively affected graduates ability to start and complete writing tasks faced in the 1-20 years after graduation?

General Research Approach: Mixed / Multi-Modal

Participants and Setting: 10% response from CLA graduates from last 20 years

Research Methods: Surveying

Data / Information Sources: Survey

Design Comments: Surveyy monkey and other ready-made; graduate student designed ours

Funding: College of Liberal Arts (CLA), dean

Support: director, coordinator, part-time graduate student to run the numbers; advice from Measurement and Evaluation staff.
