An Introduction to WAC Teacher Comments: How our three key points will improve student papers
Patrick Fitzhorn, Mechanical Engineering: In my grading of technical papers from students the most common thing I write is WHY? In order to be a terse as possible, they make statements with no backup, no support, no reason to believe that's the case, just to try and get through it as quickly as possible. Dave Alciatore, Mechanical Engineering: I feel very strongly about this too. They never justify things. They don't give the reasons why they arrived at a decision. |
