A well-established program housed within the WAC program. Offers detailed guidelines for writing fellows and assessment instruments for faculty, students in the course with the fellow, and the writing fellow.

Founded in 1992 by Dr. Dona J. Hickey, this writing program involves faculty, students, Writing Fellows and program personnel in collaborative "writing as learning'' experiences. The WAC program involves around fifteen instructors, at least twenty Writing Fellows, and nearly four hundred students each semester. Instructors and Fellows work with students in various disciplines and departments.
