Reviewing CCCC 2000: Hazarding Dreams: Theory, Practice, And Community In The Electronic Classroom (I.35)

This was a very sparsely attended session, though this may have been due to its location in the Hilton. Nonetheless, Scott Lloyd DeWitt, Marcia Dickson and Susan Delagrande from Ohio State University offered some fine and useful insights for teachers using the Web and teaching it as well. Presenters were realistic about their failures and quite helpful when it came to understanding how they use the Web to teach. It is certainly curious to think about how a session that is so helpful for teachers using Web page composition as assignments was not considered useful for most of the attenders.
