View this MessageSubject: Welcome to the Review Welcome to the CCCC 2005 Interactive Review. This
year's review continues our tradition of providing our field with
intelligent criticism about some of the key ideas that emerge from our
conference. We encourage you to read and respond to our reviews
because we think our interactive process will help you to enjoy and
extend some of the good research and practices we bring to each other
in San Francisco.
Thanks to Mike Palmquist's technological acumen, our reviewing space is interactive. However, it takes your "humanware" to truly make this space fun! If you are a presenter and can add to the review of your work--we strongly encourage you to do so in response to our criticism. If you are attending the conference and you wanted to say something at a session but time ran out--say it here--we think your input will make the reviews more creative and interesting. And if you were unable to come to San Francisco but are interested in ideas that are reviewed here--let others know what interests you. Finally, we'd like to recognize the fact that our reviewers are dedicated folks who contribute a lot to our field. Their efforts to listen and respond to so many aspects of our conference experiences means that our coming together in San Francisco creates a more comprehensive understanding of what our field is doing now. The work of our conference reviewers follows up and continues the conference in so many creative and critical ways. We hope you agree that their work is of value to us all. Will Hochman, Jonathan Alexander, and Chris Dean
